With all of the news of the economy this fall, I was a little concerned as to whether chapters would participate in the fall "Access FCCLA" Conference as they have the past. My concerns were unfounded, as we have nearly 1300 members and advisors attending this year! We are almost at the same numbers as fall of 2007.
As a reminder to members, there are scholarships that pay $75 toward your costs for the conference, sponsored by Missouri Alumni & Associates. You can get the scholarship applications from the Missouri FCCLA website. The scholarship forms must be typed and submitted at registration.
Don't forget - we always have our FCCLA Outlet Store during this conference. This is the perfect time to stock up on some FCCLA merchandise ranging in price from $1 to $5.
Finally, dress code - members are encouraged to wear "business casual" clothing to the sessions. Be sure to look at the Missouri FCCLA dress code posted on the website for more details.
