Happy Holidays from Van-Far FCCLA! At Van-Far we are very excited about our partnership with Children's Miracle Network and we have planned many events throughout the year to raise money for this amazing organization.
We have had a week where we sold the paper Children's Miracle Network balloons at lunch to studens and faculty, which went over well. We are currently planning a day for faculty to wear jeans, but they have to pay $5 in order to do so. But the most exciting thing we are currently planning is our January Family Fun Night! We are hoping to begin our evening with a soup supper and dessert carry-in. Then we are going to have a team trivia contest for the adults and small game rooms for the children. All of the proceeds from this event will go towards Children's Miracle Network. I am very pleased with our chapter's efforts to help this wonderful cause and I challenge other chapters to find a service project to make a difference for their community, too.
