Do Something!

FCCLA members are great at doing projects. But even the greatest of our FCCLA chapter members sometimes need a little motivation and help. If only there were a place that would be good for generating some new ideas....




Enter "Do Something" a website that allows you to enter your cause, give it a few criteria (who, where, and how long) and when you hit the search button - you get a great list of ideas. You can also search projects and see what has been funded with grants, what's available in your area, etc. The cause areas include:

• Animal Welfare
• Disaster Response and Relief
• Discrimination
• Education
• Environment
• Organic Living
• Health and Fitness
• HIV and Sexuality
• International Human Rights
• Poverty
• Violence and Bullying
• War, Peace and Politics

I can easily see how these resources can be used in programs such as STOP the Violence, Student Body, and Community Service. I bet you can, too.
