The new 2008-09 National STAR Events Manual has been posted online. It is 189 pages long, so be sure to have a good supply of paper before you begin printing! It is important that all chapter advisors THROW AWAY your old manual and print this new one out for a reference copy for your classroom. You can direct students to the national website and they can download or print the specific pages they need for their event.
The Missouri FCCLA Guide to State and National STAR Events is currently being developed and I hope to have it up in mid-October on the state FCCLA website. We have an exciting new nutrition and wellness state event up our sleeves, you'll just have to wait to see what it is! (Translation: I'm not done writing, editing, and getting it reviewed by chapter advisors yet).
