Missouri FCCLA Advisor VIP - Samantha Cosper


This week's Missouri FCCLA Advisor VIP is Samantha (Horner) Cosper.  Samanth teaches family and consumer sciences and is the FCCLA advisor at Southwest High School in Washburn.  She is finishing her 1st year of teaching after getting her degree from Pittsburg State University.  Here's what the person nominating her said:

Mrs. Cosper is getting the FCCLA program started again at Southwest.  She took 11 members to the fall Cluster Meeting after helping the members host fundraisers to assist with their expenses.  The Southwest FCCLA chapter held a Halloween dance that was a huge success.  Mrs. Cosper was a state FCCLA officer in 2004-2005.  It is wonderful to have her back as a teacher and advisor now!

    Sam is AWESOME! She was as a student leader but even more so now as an FCS educator and FCCLA Advisor. I am so proud to have her in our Region, she teaches me tons. Her enthusiasm is contagious.
