LifeSmarts Junior Varsity Competition Today 2/24/09

Today (2/24) is the Junior Varsity Competition of the Missouri LifeSmarts program. This program, financially sponsored by American Century Investments and coordinated by Missouri FCCLA, is a product of the National Consumers League. The competition is underway today in Jefferson City with 9 junior varsity teams from across the state.

Students compete in a quiz-bowl format in the areas of Consumer Rights and Responsibilities, Health and Safety, Personal Finance, Environment, and Technology. Later today we'll post information about the winning Junior Varsity Team.
